Well 2025 blew by and I didn't get a chance to do much in the poultry world with many of y'all. I am really sorry for that, I let y'all down. Truly, I am sorry. BUT!!
I do have some GREAT NEWS! I have finally found and am working on a system, that will help me SERVE you better! I am in the process of implementing it now. By the end of January 2026 you will see most of the changes made. Also, what y'all are Really interested in is the birds! =D And 2025 breeding still happened here at Cross B. We have many fine pullets and cockerels getting ready for evaluations for breeding. This NEW system is going to help me reach y'all better when anything is available. The waiting list, at least how I implemented it, was a good idea but a headache!!! I will update again here and there will also be a blog coming here as well.

We are Located outside of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on a third generation cattle ranch. We have a small poultry breeding operation, where we strive for the standard of perfection and working towards production. Whether that is meat, eggs or both.
We hatch and raise a majority here for breed preservation. BUT we also sell to locals and provide shipping for y'all as well!! Whether it is to someone who just wants a pretty egg layer, wants to be a part of preserving history, wants to show, or wants to be a breeder themselves! We are here for you.​​​​

ABOUT OUR NAME.
BEHIND CROSS B HENS N HEIFERS
Cross B Hens N Heifers is Samantha Harper’s (myself) branch of the Cross B Ranch located in Broken Arrow, OK.  The Cross B name comes from a brand that my Papa Ralph Harper had and used for his Dairy Cattle operation. I gave this brand to my partner Scott Belden to start his official business, Cross B Cattle and Hay LLC. The Cattle and Hay branch is the sole bread making of the ranch, so it is what does come first. We raise about ~250 head of commercial beef cattle and bale between 6,000 and 10,000 round bales a year. So whenever I am not doing cattle or hay, I am usually working with the chickens! I also have my own small herd which is where the name "Hens N Heifers" comes from. One day I hope to have an awesome Chicken Barn, but I gotta get Scott on board first!
