Hens n Heifers is a participating member of the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP).

We are registered under NPIP #3822 (Oklahoma).

At this time, we do not routinely test for Avian Influenza (AI). If additional testing is required for shipping to your state, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm requirements and timing.
Shipping Schedule
We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays when shipping is available.

Shipping may be adjusted due to weather conditions, holidays, or destination requirements.

Hatching eggs are available for shipping on a seasonal basis.

Day-Old Chicks
Day-old chicks are shipped on a limited basis when conditions allow.

Juveniles & Older Birds
Juvenile and older birds are not routinely shipped.

Shipping Methods
Shipping Carriers
Shipments are **assumed to ship via USPS unless otherwise discussed.
Upon customer request, hatching eggs may ship via alternate carriers:

We have successfully shipped hatching eggs using FedEx

UPS may be requested, though we do not currently have direct experience shipping hatching eggs through UPS
Carrier selection is discussed and confirmed prior to shipment, based on destination and timing.
Livestock Transport
For day-old chicks, juvenile birds, and adult birds, livestock transport may be an option depending on destination and timing.

Chicks travel with appropriate heat during transport
