Blue Laced Red Wyandottes are a striking dual-purpose breed known for their deep mahogany feathers edged in blue lacing. They are hardy birds that perform well in both small farm flocks and breeding programs.
 
Our BLRW breeding pens are selected with attention to color quality lacing quality, body type, and overall vigor to produce strong, healthy birds.
 
Important Information
 
Straight Run
Chicks are sold as straight run, meaning they are not sexed. Orders will contain a natural mix of males and females.
 
Wing Banded
All chicks from our program are wing banded for identification.
 
Customers may send a list of their chick wing band numbers, and we can provide the breeding pen ID and parent pen information for those specific birds.
 
Comb Type
Blue Laced Red Wyandottes are a rose comb breed. Occasionally a single comb chick may appear genetically. These will be identified early and sorted out unless specifically requested.
 
Color Outcomes
Chicks may grow out to one of three color variations:
• Black Laced Red
• Blue Laced Red
• Splash Laced Red
 
Color cannot be selected when purchasing chicks.
 
Age Options
Chicks may be offered at different ages depending on availability.

Live chick shipping is still being finalized as packaging and seasonal shipping procedures are completed.

Chicks may be offered as pre-orders for upcoming hatches. Orders allow chicks to be reserved before they hatch so they can ship promptly once confirmed healthy.
 
Because hatch rates vary, exact quantities may change. If an order cannot be filled exactly as placed, customers may be contacted regarding substitutions, additional chicks, or order adjustments.
